Kevin Saimon

Company President

Kevin studied abroad in Canada for eight years, after which he completed his studies at Capital Normal University in Beijing, China. While earning his degree in International Trade, Kevin founded a Social Networking Service and a trading company. Kevin is also the co-founder of a joint venture Search Engine Optimization company in Tokyo, Japan. Kevin joined the Interlink team in in 2008 and laid the groundwork for the foundation of UrbanBrain. Kevin grew up in Osaka, Japan and holds a certificate of level 9 proficiency in Chinese (HSK), and speaks, reads, and writes English at native-level. Kevin served as the secretariat for Japan Internet Domain Name Council from 2010 to 2011 representing Japan Domain Name Business Association.

Jacob Williams

Director of Business Development & Operations

Jacob is a multi-lingual professional with a successful track record in international communications, leadership, customer service and quality assurance. Jacob spent several years at American Express where he managed the quality of work in service centers located in Australia, Philippines, the United States. Jacob has spent 8 years volunteering and working in Japan. Jacob gained experience in the domain industry as a domain recovery specialist while managing ICANN policy related issues for a Japanese Corporate Domain Registrar and Consultancy. Jacob joined Interlink Co. Ltd. in December of 2009 as a key member in starting UrbanBrain. Jacob is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A, Other than his mother tongue, English, Jacob speaks fluent Japanese and conversational-level Spanish.

Yuri Moriguchi

Client Relations Manager

Yuri joined Interlink in 2002 and has since been an played a critical role in Interlink’s domain division, Gonbei Domain. At Gonbei, Yuri handled overseas operations and customer support contracts. Yuri is actively involved with ICANN, and has participated in ICANN International Conferences since 2006 and is a ICANN Registrar Supporting Organization voting member. Yuri is originally from the Chiba Prefecture in Japan and holds a B.A. in Economics from Hosei University.

Tomoo Okada

Chairman, Pacnet Japan

Mr. Okada is a well known communications professional in Japan. After graduating from Hokkaido University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1960, Mr. Okada began his employ with Fujitsu Limited, Japan’s number one IT services provider. Mr. Okada served as the President of Nifty Corporation from 1993 to 1998; between 2000 and 2007, Mr. Okada served as the President and CEO of of Asia Global Crossing Japan, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Internet Association of Japan, Chairman of Asia Netcom Japan, among others.

Toru Takahashi

Advisor, IAjapan

Working as an Internet evangelist in Japan and throughout Asia for over 20 years, Mr. Takahashi organized the Internet Association of Japan (IAJ) in 1993 and INTEROP Tokyo, a leading technology event in Japan. Mr. Takahashi was a founder of Tokyo Internet Corp as an ISP, and held a wide range of leadership roles throughout his career; he was the director of JPNIC, chairman of APNIC, APIA, and INET2000 Yokohama. Mr. Takahashi is the chairman of Research Institute of Internet Strategies, Inc(RIIS) and works in various other capacities as the Advisor of IAjapan, a Foundation authorized by Ministry of Communications. He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2012 by Internet Society.

Shigeki Kono

J-Circuit Co., Ltd., Advisor

Mr. Kono is a distinguished graduate of Shinshu University in the field of Fiber Science and Technology. He acted as President and CEO for nearly 20 years of a company in the textile manufacturing industry. Later, Mr. Kono provided consulting services to Staff Service Holdings, and currently acts as an advisor to eight companies spanning several fields.
